Trellis Advise: Live to Academic Advisors & Students

After many months in development and beta testing, Trellis Advise is officially live to undergraduate advisors and students! This new scheduling and communications tool allows advisors to manage their academic appointments and advising notes, and students to view their advisors' availabilities and book appointments.

Through user-centered design, Trellis Advise combined multiple needs into one system. The team worked heavily with Director of Advising Resource Center Roxie Catts and the advising community to understand the processes that go into hosting and providing advising services to students. Additionally, students weighed in on their needs to influence an interface that provides a more consistent scheduling experience.

They're saying it's intuitive and easy to navigate."

Since July, Trellis Advise had 1,148 appointments made by advisors and 6,653 appointments made by students. Over time, the tool will continue to be refined with future enhancements for both students and advisors.
