CatCloud is a new intuitive web interface for students and employees that serves up information from various Arizona systems and puts it in one accessible location.

Who does this benefit?

CatCloud student hub benefits all active, enrolled students. CatCloud employee hub benefits all university faculty and staff. CatCloud is customized to your various roles at the University of Arizona, whether as a student, member of staff, or both.

The portal’s expansion to support graduate and professional students is forthcoming. The CatCloud team continues to work with a representative group of students to continue to evolve the capabilities that will be made available in future iterations of the tool.

Capabilities

For Students

  • View upcoming assignments/quizzes, classes, appointments, and events in a single calendar
  • See upcoming assignments and quizzes across all classes in one place
  • Manage upcoming assignments and quizzes—even if they don’t appear in D2L
  • View grades and class averages for all assignments and quizzes in one place
  • Get notifications of key enrollment dates for classes
  • Ability to customize the user experience through quick links
  • See CatCash balance and recharge when needed
  • See meal swipes remaining, dining dollars remaining (for students with a meal plan)
  • Easily find and schedule appointments with advisors and other student support organizations on campus
  • Use Personal Program Plans to meet career development milestones

For Employees

  • Customize the home page view with a set of all the applications and quick links, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, UAccess, Marketing Cloud, Slack, Zoom, 24/7 IT Support, Campus Directory, etc.  
  • View and filter campus events and news specific to individuals’ interests and preferences (e.g. arts, performances and sporting events, as well as all Trellis events)  
  • Manage email subscriptions via the subscription center
  • Access a calendar that shows you appointments and events
